Cabane du Soleil Noir - DYE TO ORDER
Rich in different shades of orange, celadon blue, and black, this colorway reminds me of a wooden cabin, nestled in the darkness of an autumnal forest, near a pretty river...
Initially, this colorway was created as part of a creative challenge with Christelle from Tricot et Stitch. A mood board, "Enchanted Cabin," was shared with all the dyers who wanted to participate in the fall of 2024, and that's where my "Enchanted Cabin" ("Cabane Enchantée" in French) and "Black Sun Cabin" ("Cabane du Soleil Noir" in French) colorways were born. For four months, I then donated all the profits from these two colorways to the OFI (Orangutan Foundation International), which helps my "favorite red cousins," the orangutans, in Borneo.

Specifics of the yarn and the dye
Hand washing is recommended. Machine washing is possible on a wool/delicate cycle, cold, but only for superwash bases.
The dyes are carefully fixed, but some colors may bleed slightly, especially reds, fluorescent pinks and purples, and turquoise. Therefore, I recommend hand washing your projects separately for the first few washes.
Our "matched" colors are primarily hand-dyed. Some variation between dye lots is inevitable. We recommend ordering the number of skeins needed for your project in a single order.
