Alpaca and cashmere tend to pill a bit more than merino or BFL, but with a gentle shearing now and then, your garment will regain all its original beauty! As for dyeing, alpaca takes dye more diffusely and gently than merino, resulting in more blended, less contrasting colors and less defined speckles.
