Pitaya - DYE TO ORDER
Native to the jungles of Mexico, this cactus with its tasty fruit was imported to Vietnam in the 19th century for cultivation. There, it acquired the name Thanh Long, "Dragon Fruit," because the plant twines around a "support" tree, like the serpentine mythological creature.

Specifics of the yarn and the dye
Hand washing is recommended. Machine washing is possible on a wool/delicate cycle, cold, but only for superwash bases.
The dyes are carefully fixed, but some colors may bleed slightly, especially reds, fluorescent pinks and purples, and turquoise. Therefore, I recommend hand washing your projects separately for the first few washes.
Our "matched" colors are primarily hand-dyed. Some variation between dye lots is inevitable. We recommend ordering the number of skeins needed for your project in a single order.
Exact colors may vary slightly depending on screen calibration.
