This year (2025) saw the Kumbh Mela, a huge Hindu gathering on the banks of the Ganges in India. An opportunity to reflect on this country of great contrasts, between extreme sophistication and destitution, modernity and respect for traditions, but always of unparalleled colorful beauty.

Specifics of the yarn and the dye
Hand washing is recommended. Machine washing is possible on a wool/delicate cycle, cold, but only for superwash bases.
The dyes are carefully fixed, but some colors may bleed slightly, especially reds, fluorescent pinks and purples, and turquoise. Therefore, I recommend hand washing your projects separately for the first few washes.
Our "matched" colors are primarily hand-dyed. Some variation between dye lots is inevitable. We recommend ordering the number of skeins needed for your project in a single order.
